Favorite Instagrams from November

Okay, I'll admit it. This month I have not taken any "great" Instagrams. But I will say that in October I did. Too bad I'm only showing you Novembers in this blog post (I bet you wish you were following me on Instagram, now, don't you? Too bad my account is private, muahahahahah). I will also admit that I get really excited when I email myself, because then I know that it's not just another junk email from some big box store telling me I'm going to love the new coupon (let me tell you, big box store, if you're reading this, and I can guarantee you that you probably aren't, so, empty rant, I hardly ever love your coupon. Just sayin'). Anyways, here are my top three from this month.

3. Tell me I'm not the only Doctor Who fan. My friend and I (I coached her into doing it) did the tally marks on our faces and hands for the special. However, readers, if you ever decide to do this, please make sure that it comes off easier than mine did. I must have spent a half hour scrubbing that stuff off. Maybe I should just break down and buy some makeup remover. Can you tell I grew up with boys?

2. Okay, so I'm a big Honda nerd, too. I would marry my Civic if it weren't a car. Okay, that came out wrong. You know (I hope) what I mean. One day I tweeted about my civic. The next day, Honda tweeted this. Awwww.....

1. And my number one pick for this month is...insert long annoying drumroll here...frost on the windshield. Even though we'll be seeing frosty windows here for the next eight months. :)

OH, before I leave you readers cliff-hanging for next post, I wanted to tell you all how excited I am that Instagram is finally(!) on Windows phone! Yay! No more third-party apps!

New Blog Feature...

Best of Instagram

{august edition}

So I came up with a cool {i think} idea for my blog. Every beginning of the month, my first post for the month will be my favorite and your favorite posts from my instagram page from the previous month.

As you may {or may not} know, I love instagram. What young lady doesn't? But I'm going to spare you the duckfaces and bathroom selfies {although once in a great while i have posted a bathroom selfie}.

Here's what the post will include:

~My followers top three pictures from the prior month

followed by:

~My personal top three favorite pictures

I hope you like the results!

summer vegetables

well, it's the end of summer (sad face), but the beginning of the crispness of autumn! although i will miss the warm feel of sun and the additional vitamin D it provides, windows down with my shades on, and the extra excuse to buy an ice cream cone "because it's summer", there are plenty of things to look forward to with fall approaching. in fact, today was, i believe, the first day that you could actually feel it in the air. that crisp, clean breeze that makes you want to pull out a cozy sweater and jeans, sip tea or cocoa, and sit and read a nice, long book. and (bonus!), there is the fact that the amazing colors are about to appear on the scene, especially here! i love bright colors anyways (just ask my friends or look at the clothes i wear on a daily basis), so these oranges, reds, and yellows, you can guess just make this girl happy. i will try not to think about the winter coming. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

so, anywho, there are a few photographs i will share with you today from my recent explorations outside of instagram.

the first is a photo of our pepper from the garden! doesn't it look delicious? well, it was :)

day 109: mirror mirror

august 1.

my best friend and i hop over to portland for some errands. i don't laugh as truely as with other people as i do with her.

day 103: it's electric!

july 26.

not much to say for this day...

day 96: teatime

july 19.

jet lag kicks in and this girl feels lazy. i think i (may have) stayed in my jammies all day. sidepoint, when i think of staying in my jammies the whole day, i smile. because you know you don't have to deal with rude customers at work, busy hurrying about, or putting on one of those fake polite smiles that people come to expect of those with sunny dispositions. sometimes, we all just need a day to kick back, jammafy ourselves, and drink tea (because deep down, we know we miss our english teatimes).

day 81: i instagram the airport

july 4, 2012.

aka the day none of us really got any sleep. we flew from newark to washington dc, and from there took a flight headed to dublin..

7.21.2012

day 77: yummy

sarah and i went out to dinner and shopping for one last "hurrah" before i left to fly over the sea for two weeks. i really missed her those two weeks! but nevertheless, i had a blast over in ireland and england. but more on that later.

day 75: bob

so i totally have 22 posts to catch up on. mostly unwritten. everything after a long journey seems to be disorganized, and i hope that i'm not the only one who feels like this. laundry that needs to be put away, posts to write, photos to organize (i took about 900 on the trip, eek), etc. and i'm soooo tired! so i'm going to do my best over the next few days to catch you readers and lookers up on my photo a day project :)

day 75 was june 30. yeah, that's right, last month.

i know i've posted a bunch before about bob (you say, "what about bob?"), but here's another. just face it. we all need our daily dose of cute.

6.29.2012

day 72: i give myself a pat on the back

for sticking with this job for a whole year. doesn't seem like a long time to you, mr. corporate, sitting there in your high backed leather office chair, but to me, it is, just because the sales job i have really isn't what i saw myself doing at this point in life a few years ago. but hey. it pays the bills, and that's what counts, right? :)

6.26.2012

day 71: porcelain kitty

i love this little thing. it's my mother's.

day 70: keychain

i collect keychains. i also have a passion for breaking them. just ask the two eiffel towers, the dutch wooden shoe, etc. it happens. to me. especially. But one keychain i've had for a few years now, and hasn't broken, is this one. also, interesting fact, it's the only actual bling on my keyring. it truly has stood the test of time.

the story behind it is a small one. you know that big nineties fad with having everything with your name on it? well, i grew up always wanting one. every store i went in that had one of the displays i would rush over to, scan the a's, and inevitably end with andrea and autumn. there were never any audrey's in the bunch. so my field trips to the gift shop usually ended up in disappointment. until the day my mom and i went on a road trip. my mom is seriously like the funnest person to take a roadtrip with. she is awesome! anyway, on the way back home we stopped at the mall for a little shopping spree. we ended up in a gift shop, and guess what? my mom bought me this little trinket. made my day. maybe even my year. it's the little things..

6.16.2012

day 58 was instagrammed

ah...wednesday.....the day that i almost forgot to take a picture...so i just snapped a pic of the macro detail on my bedside table lamp with the ole' atrix.

5.15.2012

day 26: geese!

aww, aren't they cute? i tried instagram for this one. i'm not a huge fan of instagram because they make you crop your pictures, but at the same time, i like square pictures. talk about an oxymoron. i do, however, like the editing "bling" you can add to your pictures.

so here's my instagram picture.
