Frosty Mornings

I never wake up early enough to give myself time to shoot the awesomeness of frosty mornings. Thanks to going to bed early last night, however, I was able to finally get out there and shoot some of the greatness of the season. Some may say, well, that's just some dead leaves, and cold grass. But I say, no, it stops you in your tracks and takes your breath away when you see it. It's beautiful.

I decided to just show you the black and white versions today, maybe another day I will get the color ones to the way I remember the colors being.

   Enjoy!

day 89: the tram was crammed

july 12.

thursday we spent some time in the ministry inviting people around dublin to the convention the following three days! what a great experience! my favorite was when we were all on the tram, all crammed full of witnesses, and a few other people, just feeling this incredible surge of happiness.

day 8: waking up

woohoo! we made it to day 8! I was fiddling around with my camera on my phone when I was too procrastinatory to make the walk from my cozy warm bed to the shower to begin the day, and this is what i came up with. my photo of the day.

unexpected wonders

Yesterday I decided to take the morning off and sleep in. I was excited, since this meant staying in my jammies all morning and editing some engagement pictures I had taken the day before for two of my friends. Sounds like a great morning.

At 8:23, my mom came into my bedroom. Here's the conversation:

Mom: "Audrey, sorry to wake you up."

Me: GRUNT. (I hate waking up in the morning)

Mom: (continues unfazed) "Did you make a design in the driveway?"

Me: "What????"

Now I was awake. I didn't really understand what she was saying....what was I supposed to answer with? Yes, Ma, I was in the driveway at midnight making "designs", because that's what I do? Because I don't. I think I answered no, and looked at her like she was crazy.

Mom: "Well, someone drew two hearts in the driveway, and there's not any footprints or anything near them!"

NOW my curiosity was peaked. I sprang up out of bed, pulled on some jeans and grabbed my camera.

Turns out, someone just turned around in the driveway. But look at the results! They are pretty amazing!
