I'm on a blogging rampage. Seriously. It helps that I practically have a library of photographs since my sabbatical of posting on here. I hope that my posting doesn't annoy you, but, chances are, if you've been around since the start of this little blog project of mine, you've probably (hopefully! Ahh! I really hope!) decided my posts have come a LONG way. At least I think that the photographic content has. Maybe the written content hasn't. <-----as can be shown by my frequent sentence fragments.

Today's post I'm focusing (har-har...sorry. That was a pun) on water droplets. These are something that I never get tired of capturing. What's your favorite thing to take photos of?

preview shot {but not really}

because the photo i'm posting today isn't really part of my project i'm working on. but i want you to stay tuned, because i'm super duper excited to bring you my new photo project i've been working on for the last week or so! (so excited, in fact, that my dyslexia keeps coming out onto the keyboard and my backspace key is getting a lot of love)

but i wanted to let you know, and can't exactly post a post without a photograph, because then it would be just a normal diary entry. and here, we always do things with photos attached.

enjoy!

The Backyard Adventurer

   Most people say that a foggy, wet, gloomy day is quite disgusting. I may have thought so myself as well when I woke up this morning. But if you just take a minute, you may notice some things that can be quite beautiful in the stillness of the afternoon.

day 76: clouds

was july 1. a sunday. started out nice, then got rainy. but we still got ice cream. i also had the privilege to photograph a pretty pregnant lady! i can't wait to meet little lydia in the very very near future!

anyways. like i said, we got ice cream. it was raining, then cleared up, then rainy. schizophrenic, the weather was. like ireland's weather. we saw an impressive rainbow, and then i was impressed by the raindrops on the sunroof.

day 68: party in the rain

Yesterday we had a party in the rain. And when I say rain, I don't mean, "oh my hair has those weird little droplets of mist in it". I mean, "crap! did i just fall in a swimming pool? cuz that's how wet my clothes are". Yep. But we still partied it out. In the pouring, you have to yell at the person sitting next to you to have a conversation rain.

Every Day We're Leaving Something Behind

They say every day is a new beginning. And I believe that. But the new beginnings leave old endings that are sometimes unfinished, like books that remain unwritten and unpublished. They sit on shelves, unscathed, collecting the dusts of years and days gone by. Like lens flares, they make me a little reminiscent for the past. So I've come to a decision. I've decided to burn the pages that are half-written. It's time to stop erasing and just start a new page, like the first day of school, when you cherish all the fresh notebooks full of crisp white, blue-lined pages. It's time to begin anew, with a fresh start.
