I want to go back there someday..

...back to the wide open spaces and the bright blue skies of summertime. Anyone care to join me?

Also, I found this photo today, I thought it was interesting how the Queen Anne's Lace flower pictured below kind of mimics an icy snowflake. Funny how nature does patterns, isn't it?

my trip to the big apple!!

ok. here it is! i hate the city because it scares me, but i love it because there's some kind of strange beauty in the sparkly lights and diversity of people and sights in it. Sorry if you love it all around and are disappointed with my lack of COMPLETE appreciation for NYC.

I did have a great time, though! It was so nice to see the sunsets from the rooftops, and to hang with my family. I love times with them!

Here's a few of my snaps from the place:

Summertime..

Okay, I'll be the first to admit, we haven't had much of a winter here. But I was looking through some shots I took last summer, and I found this one, taken on my phone's camera. A little tweaking, and, voila! Here's today's shot. Hope you have an excellent day!

oldies but goodies

so i'm publishing an old one today. we were just starting to see spring here (i thought i saw some crocuses poking out of the earth the other day!) when we got a few storms. granted, it's still not been much of a winter (although i heard they got 20 inches of white stuff last week in Fort Kent, ME), but i thought, nonetheless, that i would share a spring-y picture with you all today. hope you enjoy it! it's not the best, but, still, it's more summer than we're going to see in a while. so go ahead, live vicariously through this blog. :)
