Remember that Photo Shoot??

So I was searching for something to share with you tonight and I realized that I only showed you the one picture from the photo shoot I did with my parents in early December (when I was having trouble breathing from the nerves attacking my brain day and night). And that's why you're going to look at tonight's pictures and enjoy them. Because I couldn't think of any other pics to share with you (well, I thought about some of my Paris ones, but I figured with yesterday's post, I'll give you a slight break. Maybe sometime this week you'll see some of those. I can't believe it's coming up on a year since Sam and I were there! Crazyness!). Anyhow, here you are :) enjoy...

The Miniature Eiffel Tower

Before I went to Paris, my brother Jack went to Paris. And before Jack went to Paris, my brother Bill gave me a tiny Eiffel tower key chain that someone from Paris had given him. Boy, did I love that little thing. I kept it on my keys until one day I accidentally dropped them at work, and KA-BANG! the thing broke apart (it was a sad day).

So, long story short, when Jack went to Paris, I asked him to bring me back another little Eiffel for my keys. And, the awesome brother he is, he did :) despite the fact that he ended up sick the whole time he was there and came back with a horrible case of pneumonia and spent a lot of time in the hospital at his return home. Maybe another time I'll tell you that story. But for today, I will leave you with a little picture of my little tower.

This Morning..

Write something witty. Write something witty. Write something witty. Sorry, folks, that's probably not going to happen today. Last night I was so excited that I found these pictures I took two months ago that I started to think about what I was going to write for a commentary blog post with them. I actually was doing pretty good in my head. But then again, most things sound much better in this girl's head. When I actually say them....that's another story. I never quite had that gift that Thumper's mom in Bambi (yeah, I know, quoting Bambi, now you know where this blog post is going today) told him to have. I mean, sometimes it happens.....I guess...

ANYHOW. Enough boring you for today. I thought I would try something new next week possibly towards the end, so stay tuned. But then again, it might not turn out, as most plans of mine usually go awry. 

This picture is a lake near me, whose waters are usually so calm the reflections of everything shows up in the slight ripples. 

Isn't that neat for a snowy morning in January? It was actually pretty cold the day I took these....which didn't, apparently, stop me from testing out the waters.

Okay, okay, so you don't believe me that I went in the icy water?? Well, here's proof. Yeah, I was in a skirt. The rest of the afternoon was quite chilly. And damp. Hahah.

One day my mom, my friend, and I were driving down the road and I was doing what I normally do; looking at the sky (except most times when I'm driving, that wouldn't be good). That's when I saw this, and was quite struck by it. I hope you find it interesting, like I did.

A Promise Is a Promise

So yesterday I told you all that I was tired and I would try harder to give you a more appealing photoshoot today. Well, that's what I hope I've done. I decided to experiment with the progression of things...

...well, I hope you enjoyed that. It amused me, at least. Here's an artsy view (if there ever was one) of the hot water faucet.

And look! There's my eye! That's the eye that sees the quirky pictures and then proceeds to take them and share them with you all!

...Interesting, you're probably thinking. Well, this is what happens when you give me a camera and a few editing photo magic effects! Crazy things!

Two Random, Unrelated Objects

Ok, so I hate to admit it, but tonight, I am really tired. So, such being said, I am going to give you a mediocre post for today's journalistic endeavor (I promise I'll try harder tomorrow). And the last sentence being said (I also can't spell tonight, apparently, since I have to keep hitting that backspace key), I'll be giving you readers two completely unrelated pictures. One I took a few weeks ago, and the other, last summer, when all of the flowers were in full bloom in my mother's garden.
